Vipassana Meditation also known as insight meditation is a meditation practice that develops profound awareness, calm and insight into the present moment.
The Vipassana meditation technique we will work with is called 'Noting' and was popularised by the Burmese Monk, Mahasi Sayadaw. We will practice in walking and sitting.
The host of the session will be Reimar who studied with Ajahn Phra Puttar at Wat Sopharam, student of Ajahn Tong Sirimangalo, student of Mahasi Sayadaw.
In this two-hour weekly session we will have a Dhamma talk followed by a group meditation ~60 minutes.
No previous experience necessary. Just come with openness and humility to sit with yourself!
